  8. MetriCon is a utility to aid in converting numerical values to and from the
  9. Metric system.  MetriCon will convert values will make conversions from
  10. English to Metric, Metric to English, English to English, Metric to Metric,
  11. as well as to and from many additional types of archaic/ancient units.

  13. MetriCon places emphasis on conversions to the SI system of units, which are
  14. the preferred units for conversion to Metric in this country.  Much of the
  15. background for Metric conversions is included, both in the form of a ReadMe
  16. file and in the form of context-sensitive online help which is available from
  17. within the program.  MetriCon is very intuitive and is easy to use; the user
  18. is prompted through any conversion.  There are over 30,000 different
  19. conversions available, grouped into 38 different classes, according to the
  20. type of conversion.  Version 6.0 includes a utility called CLIPPER that acts
  21. as a DOS clipboard utility which will allow the user to paste conversions
  22. into a word processor.
